Our Club Events

Indoor Flying 2011 - 2012
Winter Indoor Flying is here again!
The club has booked the First Church of God Community Center, 201 East Green Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 for the following days this winter:

• Friday December 2, 2011 from 7-9 PM
• Friday January 6, 2012 from 7-9 PM
• Friday February 3, 2012 from 7-9 PM
• Friday March 2, 2012 from 7-9 PM

The pricing arrangement is the same as last year - we will split the $60 fee by the number of participants. Last year fees ran about $5 to $6 per night. So get those light flying aircraft put together and come on out for the fun! Hope to see a lot of you there. . .

Weekly Flying Meets - Being an active lot, we have scheduled three days every week (weather permitting) when members get together to fly, and generally have fun. If you have been bitten by the RC Flying bug, or are thinking of joining our club, drop by one of our fields on any of the days listed below.

• Sunday Afternoons - Klinedinst Road Field
• Wednesday Mornings - Klinedinst Road Field
• Wednesday Evenings - Strock Farm Field

NOTE: Only Capitol Area Flyers members are allowed to use the fields. Members may fly from either field any day of the week, however Flying Times, No-Fly zones and all Field Rules must be observed.
